We aim to reduce hunger and malnutrition by distributing food products donated by producers, merchants, and individuals.

Objective

 

To provide food products in a subsidized, dignified, and temporary manner to people with limited resources in the central region of the state of Veracruz, making professional and responsible use of products in good condition, recognizing the dignity of individuals and their participation in the common good.

Our programs

Our programs are permanent, targeting people with limited resources registered in a list. They are provided through a recovery fee and include monitoring of weight and height, combining the assistance part of food support with training for work to achieve real human development for the beneficiaries.

HOW DOES A FOOD BANK WORK?

We are an independent institution that, together with socially responsible companies, rescue food products that are not marketable but are 100% edible.

All the products are distributed by the Veracruz Food Bank to families with limited resources, disaster victims, or those in vulnerable situations.
